By using VitalsVersus ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. The Service

VitalsVersus is a health and fitness challenge app that lets you compete with friends on steps, weight loss, and workout goals. The app reads health data from Apple HealthKit or Android Health Connect (with your permission) to calculate challenge scores.

2. Your Account

• You must be at least 13 years old to use the app.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• You may only create one account per person.
• You can delete your account at any time from Settings > Delete Account.

3. Health Disclaimer

VitalsVersus is not a medical app and does not provide medical advice. The app displays health and fitness data for motivational and entertainment purposes only. Always consult a healthcare professional before starting or changing an exercise or diet program. We are not responsible for any health decisions you make based on information displayed in the app.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Manipulate or falsify health data to gain an unfair advantage in challenges
• Harass, bully, or intimidate other users
• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to access other users' data or accounts
• Reverse-engineer or interfere with the app's operation

5. Content and Intellectual Property

The app, its design, and its code are owned by VitalsVersus. Your health data and personal information remain yours. By using the app, you grant us a limited license to process your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. In-App Purchases

The app may offer optional in-app purchases (such as ad removal). These are processed by Apple's App Store or Google Play and are subject to their respective refund policies. We do not process payment information directly.

7. Limitation of Liability

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to data loss, health outcomes, or service interruptions.

8. Termination

You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law.
